The Symphony Goes West!
The theme for our 2015-2016 season is The Symphony Goes to the Movies, which we kicked off by playing Raiders March from Raiders of the Lost Ark at our July 3rd concert in Rifle. Now we will take you out west with several Americana favorites such as:
- Go West, a medley including themes from The Magnificent Seven; The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly; and Hang ’em High
- Hoe Down from Rodeo – Aaron Copeland
- American Salute – Morton Gould
- The Great Locomotive Chase – Robert W. Smith
- On the Trail from Grand Canyon Suite – Ferde Grofé
- Silverado – Bruce Broughton, arr. Randol Bass

Head ’em up, and move ’em out… and join us at 7:00PM October 24th at the Ute Theater in Rifle!
Come early to hear the NOLA-Style Jazz Band!
Stay late and watch the movie Silverado! Western Movie Night sponsored by the New Ute Theatre Society.
